Red Robin Au Pair Service

Red Robin is an Auckland-based, boutique agency, which means we operate on a smaller scale than some of our peers. Every member of the Red Robin team has experience in the childcare industry, which inspires us to provide an enjoyable experience for every educator on our service.

 

We primarily work alongside a New Zealand based au pair partner agency, sourcing quality candidates in Germany and placing them with families in New Zealand. We provide our au pairs with ongoing development and support, with a team of highly qualified teachers visiting au pairs through our Little Robins home-based service on a monthly basis, once they are introduced to a family. It normally takes 6 - 8 weeks to secure an au pair.

Au Pair Rates

Amount of hours worked & Net 'pocket money':

​

• 20 – 25 hours, $125 pocket money

• 26 – 30 hours, $150 pocket money

• 31 – 35 hours, $190 pocket money

• 36 – 40 hours, $210 pocket money

• 41 – 45 hours, $250 pocket money

The host family is responsible for the au pairs tax, on top of the weekly rate. They also need to provide a comfortable bedroom and weekly food. Au pair placement fees are determined by the contract duration and range from $395.00 - $895.00.
