We Recruit for the Following Positions
- Permanent Nanny
- Fixed/Short Term Nanny
- Part Time Nanny (Minimum two 6 hour shifts)
- Nanny Share

Nanny share
A nanny share is a great option for a flexible family, open to sharing and hiring a nanny with another local family. The hourly rate for the nanny is reduced because you share the cost.
Privately Sourced Nanny
If you have secured a nanny or au pair privately and wish to have them professionally screened, we are happy to provide this service. Our recruitment team will screen your candidate and ensure your peace of mind. This service includes the full candidate screening process, as listed above, and costs $195.00 + gst
Payroll Service
As an employer, you are responsible for paying your nanny their wages, PAYE, Kiwisaver etc. Red Robin families are eligible for special discounts through our partners, who provide an end to end payroll service. They take care of every aspect of the payroll including leave management, deductions, ACC management and all filing with the IRD. All you need to do is make sure that your nanny’s timesheets are approved and they make sure your nanny is paid correctly and on time, every time. Funding You Can Receive
Red Robin is fully licensed through the Ministry of Education and is able to provide families with a range of Government Subsidies, including but not limited to:
- Up to 30h subsidies for children aged 0 – 5 years
- Up to 30h subsidies for Grandparents caring for children aged 0 – 5 years in the family home*
- WINZ family support payments.
- WINZ home-help payments for multiple births.
Play Based Education & Funding
'Little Robins' is our free home-based education programme, which is fully funded and licensed through the Ministry of Education. By joining Little Robins, families with children aged 0 - 5 will be eligible to receive up to 30 hours of MOE funding each week, per child.
You will be supported by the Red Robin team & will enjoy a range of benefits. Your nanny/au pair will be supported by their own fully qualified ECE teacher in facilitating the Little Robins home-based education programme. Families who already have a nanny or au pair in place are also welcome to join the Little Robins programme. With Red Robin, your child has the ability to develop & grow in a home environment that is safe, secure & chosen by you.

Placement Fees
Permanent nanny placement for families joining Little Robins, our free Homebased Service, with children aged 0 – 5: $295.00 + gst*
Permanent nanny placement for families not joining our free Homebased Service, with children aged 0 – 5 years: $995.00 + gst
*Must remain enrolled in service for at least 6 months, or additional charges may apply.
